Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Review

My sister-in-law had an online Younique party and I was hesitant to try it, mostly because I don't like spending more than $10 on an item of makeup only for it to look exactly the same as everything else I've ever bought. After a couple of weeks of seeing other buyers' before and after pictures, I decided to bite the bullet and place my order. I'm so glad I did! I got the 3D Fiber Lashes kit, which is $29 for the transplant gel + fiber lashes. Looks something like this:

First you apply a coat of your favorite mascara. I love They're Real by Benefit - the most expensive non-wedding makeup I've ever bought and I'll never go back to drugstore mascara again! Here's my left eye with only mascara:

Then you put on the transplant gel and the fiber lashes - both of which go on just like mascara. I'm super makeup-challenged so if I can do it, anyone can! Here's my right eye with the Younique products applied:

Here's my both eyes together: the left side of the photo has the Younique lashes and the right side of the photo is mascara only. It's easier to tell in person but the difference is 100% noticeable. My lashes were thicker and longer after one coat, but I like the look after two coats!

I've been converted! I think I'll try curling them tomorrow before applying the lashes and see how it looks. I've never been a big lash girl but I absolutely love this product!
